Wooden or Iron Gates

Wooden or Iron gates? The choice is yours!

Total Protection offer a wide range of both wooden and steel gates to suite your requirements and individual tastes.

This is a set of iron gates we installed.

As standard, all metalwork supplied is finished in black primer.

However these gates have been galavanised and then powder coated black.

Features of this gate:-

Entry: By hand held remotes, digi pad & intercom

Exit: Via induction loop controlled by timer

Safety: Safety loop and photocells

System also includes a manual override device which allows you to open gates manually from inside of driveway in case of a power failure.

Galvanising is a molten Zinc coating which then forms part of the steel and gets into even the smallest cracks. The steelwork is then dipped prior to galvanising into hydrochloric acid to clean the steel and remove any grease, dirt or rust. After galvanising , even if the paint is chipped, the steelwork will not rust as opposed to primer gloss.

These are a pair of Dorchester gates we installed in July 2007.

The gates shown are finished in Hardwood and are manufactured with Half lap boarding.

The letter box was chosen by our client and the gates modified at a small additonal cost to allow for this.

It is always a good idea to contact the planning department at your local Council before installing any type of gates at your property.

Most Councils will provide, free of charge, planning and regulation booklets. This ensures your project can proceed without any complications.
